Structured facts

Population, geography, household and similar figures should identify the period they describe. Older figures remain labelled with their original year rather than being presented as current.

Travel and amenity estimates

Distances and travel times are estimates from a representative community location. Traffic, weather, construction and the exact address can materially change a trip.

Editorial observations

Descriptions of character, trade-offs and seasonal experience are editorial context. They are not municipal designations or guarantees about every street.

Sources and review dates

Each guide includes the sources currently available. A review date appears only after a page receives an individual editorial review; it does not make every underlying dataset contemporaneous. Source links are added only when verified, never guessed from a label.

Publication and indexing

New guides must pass content validation and editorial review before they are marked indexable. Draft and incomplete pages remain available for review but are excluded from the sitemap.

AI-assisted drafts

Automation may help organize drafts, but factual publication should remain source-backed and editorially reviewed. Unsupported generated claims are not an acceptable source.
