The stock is the most expensive in the city — detached benchmark prices on the West Side run far above the regional figure — but the Cambie Corridor and Broadway plans are adding mid-rise apartments along the rapid-transit lines faster than anywhere else in the region.

School catchments do a surprising amount of work in West Side pricing: the same house trades differently on either side of a catchment boundary, and the private schools cluster here too.
